Sōli AI · Open source · Saolix Group

Open-source AI, built to run privately.

Sōli AI is Saolix’s family of open-source models for governed AI capability for enterprise, on mobile and desktop. They are built to run privately on an organisation’s own devices and infrastructure, to advise while rules and people decide, and to be released as open source once proven.

In development. No Sōli model is released yet.

How it is built

Three rules for every Sōli model.

Private by design

Models are built to run where the data already is, not to pull data out to a model somewhere else.

Advisory, never deciding

In regulated work, a model can suggest and explain. Rules and people make the decision.

Open, when proven

Each model will be released as open source with a model card, evaluation results and licence terms, and not before the model has earned them.

The family

Mobile first, then desktop.

Sōli for Mobile · in development

Soli Lite

The first Sōli model. It is designed to read mobile-money text messages on the phone itself, so the messages, and what they reveal, stay with their owner. Languages are planned in stages: English first, then Swahili, then Sheng.

Desktop models

Small language models designed to run privately on a desktop or laptop. Work starts after Soli Lite, and each model will be released as open source in the same way.
